Generations : Celebrate the Family
One of my art deco cubist paintings. This one was painted in honor of my paternal grandmother shortly after her death. It has a circle-of-life theme with the older woman as the matriarch of the family helping usher in the life of a newborn child. A wonderful piece to pay tribute to generations and to family.
The Birth of Venus 2002
This painting was created in 2002 for a "Birth of Venus" contest from the emerging artists group "ESR@". My entry entitled "The Birth of Venus 2002" ending up winning the contest as voted upon by the artist members. This was my modern take on the classic Boticelli painting . Enjoy!
This is one of my art-deco cubist paintings.
Mother and Child in Chairs
An art deco cubist design of a woman seated in three different chairs and holding a newborn baby. These three chairs represent the chairs in which my mother, grandmother and I all held my daughter for the first time. There's a wicker chair, a rocking chair and a recliner represented.

Our Lady Liberty
"Our Lady Liberty" is an art deco cubist painting that I originally created shortly after September 11th, 2001. It shows the statue of liberty with buildings and sections of the American flag in the background. I think the painting captures the initial 'shattered' feeling that may of us had after seeing and hearing about the events of 9-11, but the image of lady liberty and the colors still provide a sense of optimism of the future.
Angels of September
A painting done in response to the tragic events of September 11th. The image shows four angels holding the earth in their hands. Broken images of the American flag and buildings are shown in the background.
