The wizard of OZ
My own impressions about Oz , was crystallized in childhood when I have read the story . This paintings was made now when I'm alder but my soul is still attached by my childhood .
The composition it's something like an inverted surrealism ... I made something close to reality starting from a surrealistic subject as Oz story is, but still something not enough realistic . Still are some surrealistic elements in my composition.
I this composition , maybe, only between scarecrow and the lion characters a confusion could be made ... For me is pretty clear : the Lion is that homeless who are in the right side of the painting .
The town skyline in background , if isn't obviously , is NYC - Manhattan island .
