I made this shot in the castle yard next to the Gardens of the 'Trauttmansdorff Castle' which is located just outside of Merano (Meran) in the formerly Austrian province of Südtirol or South Tyrol – called Alto Adige in Italian. The inspiring and vibrant Gardens cover an area of just twelve hectares yet are the most popular tourist attraction in South Tyrol. They comprise more than eighty garden worlds featuring plants from across the globe.

I made the photos in Italian Regions Alto Adige and Veneto in "Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi" [All taken at the same day. I of course didn't make all the altitude differences by foot :-)]
