Nestled in the woods, a small village getaway.
A hillside full of large red poppies contrast nicely with the cerulean blue sky and yellow green trees. Very stately trees balance with the rounded hills in the distance.
This started out with random colors and shapes and the soft colorful landscape and distant houses emerged.
This is one of my signature crooked house paintings that I call happy houses. Each has their own personality and style. I enjoy creating a landscape location which I would love to visit. They are created from my head and heart and I give God the glory.
This cool tone acrylic painting is a landscape created for a place of serenity and peace. I love the purple irises in the foreground as they are one of my favorite flowers. The touch of red on the roof tops are a nice contrast to the soft sage greens on the grass.
Tuscan style houses are atop rolling hills and graced by beautiful Italian cypress trees.
Red Roofs and crooked houses are my signature pieces starting about 8 years ago. These are colorful and somehwat have a contemporary folk art and primitive style.
This is a colorful landscape painting with a view towards the hills and purple mountains. The warm colors of this painting are very appealing.
Tuscan style landscape painting from memory and inspiration. The beautiful blue rivers are cool and inviting. The rolling hills in the background are reminiscent of some places in the U.S. I have also seen. My red roof houses and villages are reminiscent of France or Italy or Latin America. Wherever you may wish it to be, it is.
