I grew up along the Gulf of Mexico, (Pensacola,FL and Houma, Lousiana) Although I am living in Mississippi at the moment, my home is Louisiana. I can only say that I am angry because THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. I am sad for the people of the gulf coast and because I may never see the gulf, that I know, again in my lifetime. I am frustrated because there is nothing I can do about what has happened. I cannot watch the news, because it breaks my heart. This is my way of expressing how I feel. Thank you for viewing. My Heart goes out to the families of those that lost their lives and to the people of the Gulf Coast. Created in Poser8, Photoshop CS3, I used a Wacom Intuos3 Tablet and a Topaz Clean Filter in Photoshop.
Her Majesty, the Moon I reached out to the Moon in my dreams last night/ So fair she was and full with light/ She spoke of the Universe, the Earth and the stars,/ how women are from Venus and men are from Mars/ We talked through the night about so many things/ like life and love, hopes and dreams/ Her wisdom was so grand and vast/ but her radiant glow was not long to last/ I made one wish before I awoke,/ that I would remember how softly she spoke/ The light of dawn would be breaking soon/ so I bid good morning to Her Majesty, the Moon/ View LARGE by Esther Johnson 2010 On May 27th 2010 there was a full moon and a beautiful clear night sky. I could not sleep and I sat outside for a while watching the moon. That night inspired me to create this artwork and poem. I finished this piece aprox, around 4:15 a.m. on May28th, 2010 Created in Poser8 and photoshop CS3 15 x 30 inches original size
When it’s time to go home will I be ready will the deeds of my life all be known Will I be happy or perhaps sad will I be grateful for the life that I had Will Mother and Daddy be waiting for me will lost friends be there too for me to see Will there be birdsongs and pets from the past oak trees and soft summer breezes blowing the grass Will there be sunshine will it be bright will there be music will there be light Will I have regrets for things left undone unfinished business I hope to have none. Will I come back and do it again when it’s time to go home I hope I can by Esther Johnson 2010 Created in my brain : ), poser and photoshop
If this were me, in another world, I'd be young, and beautiful, care free. No worries, no pain, Just a play in the rain. If this were me, in another world, I'd be flying high, laughing hard and touching the sky. I would never be tamed. I'd be carzy and wild and play like a child, If this were me , in another world. If this were me, in another world, I'd be skipping, and dancing, singing too. I would never be lonely, restless or blue. If this were me, in another world, I'd not feel the cold, and I would never grow old. If this were me, in another world, this would be me : ) by Esther Johnson This is my first attempt at writing anything that resembles poetry or verse. Created in Vue 6, Poser 7, with postwork and painting in Photoshop and a Topaz Clean Filter Applied 2010

(French) = literally, "joy of life"; figuratively, it means pleasure, buoyancy, and exuberance over one's situation. Created in Poser and postwork and painting Photoshop. Background is from my own photo collection of skies, taken with canon 40D.
Fractal created in Apophysis with a Redfield filter applied in Photoshop.
Not my usual subject matter. The inspiration for “Big Brother is Plugged In” came to me during a trip to a suburban area in Texas. I was surprised at the number of cameras. At least one on every street corner! I can understand cameras in public areas such as airports, but in neighborhoods? Scary! The outer eye is actually a fractal created in Apophysis 2.08. The Eye was created in Poser 6, the Sky and Ground created in Vue 7 esprit. Post work in Photoshop 2009 The reflection in the eye is of a man in his bathrobe walking out to get the morning paper.
Fractal Nest and Background Created in Apophysis, Bird Created in Photoshop and Apophysis, Eggs Created in Bryce
I love experimenting with art. This is the first in a series of Chameleons that I am working on.
Fractal and 3D Art
This began as a Fractal. The Design reminded me of a vacation to the Florida Coast in the Fall of 2008, when hurricanes were far out in the Gulf of Mexico causing enormous waves to roll in for days. I wittnesed the Dolphins riding in on the waves, just for the joy of it.
