earthscape is a collection of mixed media original paintings and artworks by internationally renouned artist, John Mark. His artwork has been published internationally in many media and subjects.
Extreme art is a description to leave a wide open door for outrageous experimentation in multi media and mixed media special fx. No limits, No fear. The intention is to provide an exhibition of works that defies typical boundaries imposed by fractions of art groups.
Private Collectors, Galleries and Corporate Collections have been adding John's large scale paintings to their interiors to enhance the dynamics of their aesthetics and environmental quality.
"Convergence" is an exploration into the universal themes of planetary alignment and balance. There is a zen balance to the elemental and mythical symbols that represent the many forces within our universe and beyond. There is a subtlety in coloration and dimension that creates a timeless remnant of this phenomena.
Earthscape 5 is part of an ongoing collection of mixed media paintings using actual found Earth from different parts of the world. This earth combined with pigment, creates a very tactile and textural surface. Original painting is sold.
