The First Garden
Here is another product of my imagination. This beautiful garden depicts light streaming in from the upper left illuminating the flowers. The original painting was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Predominant colors are blue turquoise rose gold yellow and green...all of which are considered healing colors.
In Full Bloom
This painting was inspired by flowers I had planted along the side of an old farmhouse I lived in at one time.Coleus, snapdragons, marigolds and pansies are the primary flowers depicted. The original was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch canvas. Predominant colors are red, gold, yellow and green.
Moongate
This beautiful painting is an impression of my 2005 garden. We added an arch that year and it was so lovely to see the flowers begin their climb. The original painting was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch gallery wrap canvas and is in a private collection.
Predominant colors are green, blue, gold, white and violet-purples. These are considered healing colors.
Scarecrow Garden
This whimsical piece will certainly bring a smile to your face and others who view it. It is such a happy painting. Scarecrow Garden was inspired by my 2005 garden. I found the scarecrows in a country basket shop. It illustrates one two scarecrows, one larger than the other. I tend to think of them as father and son walking along the garden path. The sky is painted very loosely and energetically. Original painting was rendered with oil on 16 x 20 canvas and may still be available.
Sunflower Garden
Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. I plant them in my gardens each year. This painting was originally rendered with oil on 24 x 36 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Predominant colors are blue, yellow, green and gold.
Sunflowers And Cleome
This beautiful painting was inspired by my 2006 garden. I love sunflowers and plant them each year. Cleomes were my dear mother's favorite flower and the one I identify her with. The original painting was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch gallery wrap canvas. It is in a private collection. Predominant colors are light blue, gold, green and magenta.
South Side Of Eden
Here is another painting in my Garden Of Eden series which is an ongoing venture. This painting illustrates the biblical apple tree with the one apple of temptation. The original painting was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Predominant colors are green, pale yellows and gold with some pastel turquoise. All these colors are considered healing colors.

Emergence
Here is one exquisite white lotus flower which has emerged from the darkness of the mud beneath into it's full beauty. This paiinting was rendered with oil on 24 x 24 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Primary colors are white, deep brownish magenta or alizarin crimson and blue.
Entering Eden
This painting is yet another in my "Garden Of Eden" series. It depicts a garden scene with light streaming down from above. I suppose I paint where I would like to be.
Move Over Monet
This painting depicts lily pads in a pond. The original painting was rendered witih oil on 20 x 24 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Predominant colors are thalo blue, green, and golds.
Summer Garden
This bright and energetic painting was painted outdoors in a friend's garden one perfect summer afternoon. Original painting was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Predominant colors are green gold and yellow...considered to be healing colors.
Dance Of The Flowers
This painting was inspired by a photograph of Monet's gardens. The flowers seem to be dancing. It is a joyful painting. The original was rendered with oil on 16 x 20 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Predominant colors are pastel green, light magenta, yellow, with splashes of red flowers.
West Side Of Eden
Here is another view of Eden in my Garden Of Eden series which is ongoing. It was painted from my imagination as were all the others in this series. The landscape depicts light streaming down from above illuminating a stream with flowers and foliage on either side and foreground. It seems to exhude a sense of great silence and peace...at least it does for me. The original painting was rendered with oil on 30 x 40 inch canvas and is in a private collection.
Magical Garden
Another garden from my fertile imagination. I just love painting these gardens. It's always such a surprise when they are completed. This painting depicts light streaming into the landscape from the upper left with flowers and foliage surrounding it. Predominant coors are white, gold, blue and green. The original was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch canvas and is in a private collection.
Mystic Light
This inspired garden evokes a sense of serenity and uplifting of the spirit. It seems to draw the onlooker into the light. The original painting was rendered with oil on 22 x 28 inch canvas and is in a private collection. Primary colors are magenta, turquoise, green and gold which are considered healing colors.
