Circle of Life Series: My inspiration for this series comes from living life to it’s fullest and repeatedly seeing how the good and bad in life always come full circle. Gustav Klimt is another inspiring force behind my use of circles and other shapes in my paintings. His ability to take unrelated shapes and interpose them to create a painting of beauty and mastery is enthralling and inspirational. “The nature of God is a circle of which the center is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere.” Empedocles
This painting was created by Megan Aroon Duncanson (MADART). She has a distinct flair for modern/contemporary art. Her style and use of color are unmistakable. Bright, rich color and abstract composition draw the viewer in for a long-lasting enriching experience. To learn more about Megan and her art, Google Megan Duncanson. I really love your work and I was hoping that if you were a surrealist artist that I could use your artwork as an influence :)
Hey Amy – If you click through to Imagekind and take a look at Megan’s profile, you’ll see that she refers to her work as a “Counterpoint Art”.
If you’re looking for surrealistic artists and their work, I suggest you ask Mr. Google.
And, I really hope that “using another’s artwork as an influence” doesn’t mean copyright infringement!
Was googling my name to see where I’m showing up and came across this again and wanted to comment and Thank you for taking the time to do a write up about my art :D
All the Best,
Megan
You’re very welcome Megan!
